Study Navigator terms of use

By connecting, accessing, or using Study Navigator, you agree to these terms and the Study Navigator privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not connect or use the service. If you use Study Navigator for an institution, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that use; ordinary learner access alone does not establish institutional authority.

Study Navigator is intended for adult and higher-education learners and is not directed to children under 13. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use the service with the approval of a parent or legal guardian where applicable.

Study Navigator maps learner-selected medical-school topics to a source-safe Context Graph, reviewed learning routes, original human-published MediPrep practice questions, and learner-confirmed local study actions. Some tools can retrieve source-safe account projections, create short-lived practice or study sessions, preview planning changes, or apply a change that the learner expressly requests.

The service is evolving. Routes, tools, providers, content, availability, and limits may change as source authority, review status, security, or product requirements change. A route may be withdrawn or fail closed when its release, rights, source, or revocation evidence is no longer current.

You are responsible for keeping your MediPrep, ChatGPT, browser, device, and third-party credentials secure and for activity you authorize through them. Do not share credentials, pairing codes, private action URLs, or opaque handoff identifiers. Tell support promptly if you believe a connection has been used without authorization.

A preview, search result, attachment, or open page is not authorization for a write. Review the destination and scope shown before confirming a calendar write, personal-provider launch, model send, local Anki action, or other state-changing operation. You remain responsible for the destination account and for reviewing the result before relying on or sharing it.

You may use Study Navigator only with content, accounts, subscriptions, and systems that you are authorized to access. Your ability to view a course, file, question, card, or provider page does not by itself grant permission to copy, publish, redistribute, train a model on, or disclose that material.

You may not use Study Navigator to:

• bypass a paywall, access control, provider restriction, or institutional policy;
• copy, reconstruct, scrape, publish, or distribute proprietary question stems, choices, answers, explanations, screenshots, media, or credentials;
• submit content you do not have the right to process or expose another person's private, education, health, or account data;
• probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the service, another learner's account, a connected device, or a third-party provider;
• use the service for unlawful conduct, cheating, academic misconduct, clinical decision-making, or patient care; or
• misrepresent a MediPrep route, mapping, practice item, model output, or provider link as an official school assignment, mastery determination, license, endorsement, or clinical authority.

The shared graph publishes only source-safe route metadata. Its UWorld lane contains reviewed numeric question-ID-to-controlled-concept mappings and rights lineage; it does not contain or proxy UWorld question bodies, answers, explanations, screenshots, private links, learner history, or credentials. The rights review for identifier metadata does not grant any right to copy or redistribute provider content.

Provider links and identifiers require the learner's own lawful access and may not be available in every product edition, region, account, or release. UWorld, Boards & Beyond, Canvas, Anki, AnKing, Chrome, Google, OpenAI, ChatGPT, and Codex are third-party products or marks. MediPrep is independent of those providers and does not claim their sponsorship, partnership, endorsement, or responsibility for MediPrep.

ChatGPT hosts the learner's conversation and attachment processing under the selected OpenAI account, workspace, settings, plan, and terms. MediPrep receives only the bounded fields sent in an invoked tool request. A connected Google Calendar action is governed by the learner's Google account. Local Canvas, UWorld, Anki, and AnKing actions are also subject to the applicable institution, license, subscription, and provider rules.

MediPrep does not control third-party uptime, content, pricing, account access, security, retention, deletion, or product changes. Disconnecting Study Navigator does not cancel a third-party subscription or delete data held by that provider. You must manage those accounts and records with the provider that controls them.

Study Navigator provides educational organization, retrieval, and practice support. It is not medical advice, a diagnostic service, a clinical decision-support system, an emergency service, or a substitute for qualified teaching, institutional requirements, professional judgment, or current clinical guidance. Never use it to diagnose, treat, triage, or make decisions for a patient. For a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Medical content and generated mappings can contain mistakes or become outdated. Verify important information against current authoritative sources and your course's actual requirements. A route, open, search, answer, or immediate review does not establish completion, readiness, or mastery.

MediPrep and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, branding, original questions, reviewed routes, and public-safe release metadata. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use Study Navigator for lawful educational study; they do not transfer ownership or authorize commercial redistribution.

You retain the rights you hold in content you provide. You grant MediPrep only the limited permission needed to process the specific request you initiate, subject to the privacy policy and the rights attached to the source. Attachment processing performed entirely by ChatGPT is governed by your agreement with OpenAI; MediPrep does not receive ownership of the attachment or an ambient license to use it.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Study Navigator is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a guarantee that every route, provider, tool, result, or integration will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular course, exam, or purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MediPrep is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use Study Navigator, reliance on educational output, or a third-party service. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not permit MediPrep to exclude.

You may stop using Study Navigator and disconnect it at any time. MediPrep may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect learners, source rights, third-party systems, service security, legal obligations, or these terms. Account and provider deletion are separate actions described in the privacy policy and support page.

MediPrep may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will update the effective date and the relevant listing or in-product notice. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
